I finally got around to organising my games and facing the backlog of games I knew I needed to finish (inspired by LifeHacker’s article). Looking through my games, I feel extremely guilty and ashamed because there are a few games I have never ever touched after all these years :'( It’s time I make 2016 the year that I cut down and tackle my backlog!
This has been sitting in my drafts since December so this post is pretty messy as this was half-complete lol! Anyway, I’ve been holding back with buying manga for a looong time because I believe it’s worth your money just buying a huge bulk rather than buying a few books at a time. I made a wishlist of books and added to it every now and then until I was satisfied with the amount! I placed an order with my local Kinokuniya and everything arrived within 4 weeks! Continue reading

I thought I’d share 3 app games that I’m addicted to at the moment for those who are looking for fun games! Note that I download them from the Apple Store and they are all Japanese so it requires a Japanese iTunes account.
1. Neko Atsume 「ねこあつめ」
I’m sure people are familiar with this cat game! It basically involves you gathering cats to your home through items and you sort of add them to your album by taking photos. The gameplay is pretty straightforward: when cats visit your home, they leave either fish or gold fish, which is the currency of the game, and you can use them to buy food and more toys to attract all kinds of cats. I like how the game requires little effort so I just check back every few hours to refill the food and see what cats are visiting! Really cute and great for cat lovers!
2. Saibai Shounen「栽培少年」
I got introduced to this through my friend Annie’s post and have been addicted to plant boys ever since! The game pretty much involves harvesting mandrake “boys” (and some girls) through planting seeds and watering them… weird description I know but that really is the aim of the game. You also collect cute stories and illustrations by doing strolls that take real time to complete. It is partially voiced as well with some of the rare mandrakes (2nd picture – voiced by Kakihara Tetsuya!) actually voiced in their stories!
3. Yume Oukoku to Nemureru 100-nin no Ouji-sama「夢王国と眠れる100人の王子様」
This app came out recently so it’s still quite glitchy, but other than that it’s another addicting game involving ikemen boys. It’s a puzzle game where you link matching coloured gems, however you have turns in every battle where you have to complete as many combos as you can in one turn within a time limit. The more combos you get, the more damage your team members will deal and completing quests will you give rewards such as gems to do rare gachapons, experience to level your team members up, stories etc. The app is partially voiced as well, especially during quests and on the home screen when you can tap them and hearts appear :3 Some notable seiyuu that’s in the game include Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Miyano Mamoru, Sakurai Takahiro, Shimono Hiro and many more.
I find myself revolving around these three games alot aka. my life right now is in mobage hell (which is bad since I’m spending more time on my phone oops). If you want to add me on any of the games, my ID for mandrake boys is あゆっぺ (ayuppe) and my ID for prince boys is 1092323982. If I have time and people are interested, I’d be more than happy to write a guide for each game!

Big congratulation to all the winners!
I knew that otome games these days are now being released on the Playstation Vita and so I’ve been waiting for the next UtaPri Music 3 to be announced for the Vita. I’m glad they’ve finally announced it today which means I can dust off my Vita and play with it again after not touching it for so long haha! Let’s hope songs like Poison Kiss and Heavens Gate are on it, and depending when it’ll be released, perhaps some of the new songs that will be in UtaPri Maji Revolutions! So excited! For those who haven’t heard of the series, I made a review on the first game here.
♔ Check out the cover for Ten Count Volume 3 (pictured)! I was hoping for Kurose to be on the cover with him as well but nevertheless it’s still hot. Release date is 28/2 which is very soon!
♔ 兎オトコ虎オトコ (Usagi Otoko Tora Otoko) Volume 3’s release got pushed back again to 31/12 which a bit of a surprise. It was meant to come out sometime in May, but when I checked Amazon again, the date changed! Not sure what exactly happened with this book always being pushed back but I hope things get sorted out :(
♔ I don’t collect BL magazines so I don’t follow the new works, but it’s nice to see one of my favourites Kumonosuke releasing something! The tank is called まったく君ってばもう (Mattaku Kimitteba Mou) which I have no idea what it’s about but I definitely will be on the look out for this one.
♔ Don’t forget to nominate your favourite BL manga, mangaka, drama CDs, characters, seiyuu etc. on ChilChil for the BL Awards 2015! They have an English and Chinese option so users overseas who don’t understand Japanese can vote too (you have to log in/register though)! Voting closes 22/2 and results will be released 1/4.
OreFuro was perhaps my favourite anime of Autumn 2014. It consisted of short, 4 minute long episodes surrounding the lives of Tatsumi, his merman friend Wakasa who lives in his bathtub and other characters that often visit such as Wakasa’s marine friends or Tatsumi’s sister. To sum it up, it was an adorable anime of comedy, beautiful colour palettes and characters that made it stand out of the rest.
